This is a very becatiful city, The lack was very becautiful, we fed swan, they are very cute, and then I ate some chips with grave sauce, very good. Wesaw the snow on the top of mountain. We decide to hike there, when we arrived the top of mountain, wow it was very becautiful. althought it was very cold, we made some snow ball. After come back we ate some eccles which was very delicious

The villages is very picturesque during the christmas time. In Grassington there was a 'Dickensian Christmas Festival', with a Christmas market in the village, carol singers and brass bands playing throughout the day! This is a lovely place, I love this village very much, I saw a lot of people wear tranditional clothes, they are very nice and friendly, I ate some chicken pie and sausage, its very delicious. And then we saw many children wear tranditional clothes with a donkey paraded through the streets. They sang a beautiful christmas songs. Those songs were very very lovely. Then we brought a tranditional drink, very very delicious, I forget the name of drink.A very cute child sold drink, and he gave the drink to the customer, and then he said very loudly" Give me money" which is very rude, then her mother said don't do that. Everyone laugt to him, he felt very shy. This boy is very very cute. Wow,this is such good experience, I love this town

I join Krishna's events , there have some lecture on stress free living and meditation, and kirtan's song and dance. I also ate some India food, very delicious

I went to a Africa's party, at first, the teacher taught me something about Africa.She introduce somevolunteer's job in Africa. Then we have some typical African's food, woe very dilicious. The teacher's 2 children joined party, they are very quit and funny. Then there have some africa's music, we danced there, I enjoyed it.

This party, I think that this was a peace study party. Everyone is peace study student except me and our teacher Peter. This was a nice party, Everyone made differe kind of food. Saya's friend(a funny guy), he made 2 kind of sushi, one was tuna, another is salmon......I think salmon did not cook, but it tasteed very good. They give my a lot of sushi, and I ate a lot, and took a ugly picture, oh my god, my mouth was full of suchi. A Japan guy taugh me danced some Japanese dancing, haha, when I danced this kind of dancing, everyone laugh me, so embarassed.

Peter use reall potato to cook chips, very evry delicious, he said he never cooked real english potato for 20 years. 

I am too busy, and the weather was very cold. I don't want to go out. I have two assignment, oh my god, I am nearly crazy, but I stay enjoy life here. I went to ice skating last sunday. I fall over many times.  Both knee wree extravasated blood and tumidity, I can not run recently. Iput some medicine on my knee and put patch on my knee. I can not kneel down for 10 days. It is better now.To be honest, fall over in ice was really pain than on ground.

On Friday night, we descide to cooked some chinese food, me lala lee bo kim, we went to kim's kitchen. We cook almost 9 dishes, egg, salmon, spicy chicken, pork liver, burn banana....we ate a lot, our Japanese housemate have a party in the same builiding, so she invited her friend to came here, her friend ate some chinese food, she love it, and we gave some food to her friends. Nice party, nice night.

It took 2 hours from bradford to Durham. The main attractions are the castle and cathedral, which have been designed as a "World Heritage" site. But, its some reasons the castle didn't open today.  The castle began in 1072. Then we went to cathedral, The cathedral was buily between 1093 and 1274 and is saidto be the best example of Norman-style architecture in England. The nave of the cathedral is one of the most complete examples of Romanesque architecture in Europe. It is 61cm (200ft) long and 22m(72ft) high. Outside, we took  a lot of picture, espically we took picture in the garden which was the scenes  of "Harry Potter". We enter to gardern, pretending we are Harry Potter, haha. 

 

We join Japanese festival in tree house, first they talked about some history about Japanese. Many Japanese wear tranditional clothes. And then they have some tranditional dance, and break dance. And then some Kando , karate, and some Japanese food. Finall, they sang some tranditional songs, they use their tranditional musical instruments with guitar, wow, so nice. I have lots fun in this night.

We visited Ashton pharmaceutical company, this company is genertic company, they have manufactory licence, but they dont have production licience, therefore, I saw the medicition's production is UCB. It takes 1.30 hours from bradford to Ashton(Lancashire).  They included 3 production streams "solid, sterile, dry powder inhaler". We visited the solid area, how it work, and how to packing, I saw how to packing warfarin5mg, there are 3 computer control tables, if there is aome missing or color is not right, it might be put on recycle area. We ate lunch in the company, and then, we saw HPLC area and biochemical area. Final, we went to DPI(dry powder inhaler) area, she showed us how to fill in powder, and sterile, and packing. We spent whole day in the company, When we came back its 5.30.

I joined party last night, I came back about 3.30. Iam too tired, so I get up on 12.00 in the "afternoon" haha. But, we descide went to Skipton Castle (Peter said Skipton is my home town haha, because everytime when we traveled some place, we always lose way on Skipton, he said I have some power in Skipton, so this is my hometown, I have to go this castle haha). When we arrived Skipton, it is around 2.00. The castle closed on 4.00.We bought ticket (4.8P) , and a nice guide introduce us to look around castle. This castle the main gate defended by its four strong towers. Skipton Castle dates from 1090 but was massively strengthened in 1310 by Robert, the first Clifford Lord of Skipton. rriving in the corner we saw a big chimney, and then we saw the kitchen, you know there is a funny thing happen when we arrived the privy(toilet) Because I pertending I am in toilet and took a picture. then the guide told me, this toilet is only for man, because in early stage, there were only man worked in the kicthen, but kitchen was very hot, so these man in the kitchen only wear clothes no trousers. so this toilet is for man, not women, ha ha so embarras situration ha ha.

Then we went to withdrawing room, Mary Queen of Scots was temporarily held prisoner in Skipton cascle. Istand this room watch the nice window view, pertending I am Queen Mary he he. We also saw Lord's bedchamber. we reach the top floor, the top of the watch tower gave the cascle garrison early warning of impending attacks.We also saw the dungeon.this dungeon is safe-keeping without evil torture. In the Skipton castle outside, we saw 700 years old Chapel of St. John the Evangelist.

This is a very nice experience in UK, Ether's(a british nice girl), she invited us go her house to see firework, she said she have fired work in her hourse every year in November. .We went out on 8.00,butwe can't find her house. We always lose way on Haliflex, we asked many people, after 2 hours, finally, we found Ether's house.Wa, such becutiful house.This house is 400 years old.This was a big fire in front of house. the reason why we can fround big house is we saw a fire in front of house. We arrived about 10.00pm. Ether's gave us some Mexico's food and mushsrooms sauce with potaco, wa, such delicious food. At the same time, there is a bonefire outside. Wewent outside to see bonefire. I never saw bonefire which was just nearby, I am so exciticed, amazing bonefire. Then, they give us a sparkly, i am not sure this is call "sparklt" in chinese we call"仙女棒".I am so excitied, I laugh very louder, one british's man call me sparkle's girl. ha ha

Then, we enter Ether's house, her sister took us to see her house, we saw basement which have many good wine, and a machine's room, this matchine can let house warm. We went to the top floor, we saw may machine. this machine is made wood. There are two room in the top floor, one is for workshop, another is her father want to make a bedroom. but he doesn't finished yet. During the time, I ate a tranditional english food. A pork pie with some green sauce, bean(maybe) and some small plant(I don't know the name) a little salt and sour. Wa so nice. We enjoyed the party, we talked to some Ether's friends. I met one girl, she learn karate when she was 10, she is 20 years old now, she also have black belt like me, but her level is higher than me. I am first dense she is second dense. We took picture together.I told Ether Ilove her house, I don't want to leave her house, ha ha. We leave her house is about2.30. It was a wonderful party.

It is amazing day today, I was very busy writting my assignment and prepareing my presentation. Suddenly, I heard boom everywhere, I open my window, wa, firework everywhere, so beautiful, fantasic.When my teacher came to our house,I asked him why UK has this festival? He said, this is tradinial festival on 5th of November. He didn't know the reason.He told me, most of these firework are private, and it is not cheap. Maybe, some of them provided from local governoment. We went to Sayako's room, the top floor of our house. We see firework everywhere in Bradford, it was a lovely.

We went to Leeds to see the biggest one pharmceutical wholesale-UNICHEM. This was a interesting place, I have never been before. I think, Taiwan may have wholesales, but do not have such bigger than this one. First, we visited check place, this place is most important place, if there was anythings wrong(eg. damage, broken), they would reture to manufactor. The secondary is automatic machine, the machine control by computer. Medicines will drop to a boxes which is custom need. But some medicines such as glass bottle, can not use machine, so they have manual area. Each staff in this area has scanner. When they take the medicine, they will scan the mark in front of medicine, this step avoid they take wrong medicine. Because they are not pharmacist, they do not understand medicines. After that we went to pcakage area. Some medicine are easy broken, they will put some things to protect them.And then, we went to a reture area. Some customs will reture some medicines, and this area is checking what's wrong with those medicines. If the medicine can used they will give back to custom, if medicines was damage, they will change new one. Delivery area, this area go out twice a day. We also visited some refrigerator area. After that, they gave us some gift, as as pen, doll, vitamin. This is quite interesting outside teaching.

Although we have a assignment and a presentation, we still decided to travel to Harewood. How did we know this area? Because Lillian’s cousin gave her a discount ticket, therefore we decided to go there. Harewood is beautiful places. It has Harewood house and garden. The gardens are set in 1000 acres of parkland. Landscaped by capability Brown and include an Italianate Terrace designed by Sir Charles Barry, imaginative mixed borders and a 32-arce lake. Woodland walks lead to a rock garden containing many exotic plants (I saw a a Buddhist statue in the garden) and a majestic cascade (oh, my god, this place is not easy to find, I jump a mud pit and crossed a stream. Finally, I found it. ). It also has a bird garden, including penguins, owls and parrots. In the Harrwood house, they gave us a guide’s radio. I can not really understand every words. Oh, my god, I should improve my listening. This house built 200 years. Henry Lascelles brought in 1738. Princess’s Mary lived here in 1930, therefore, Harewood became a Palace at that time.

Today, we descided to go to car boots sales, because I wanted to buy a TV. We knew two car boots sale. Both of them near Knaressborought ( horse  racing place). We went car boots sale,the first one is a little small, besides, each one also must pay 60p. But, I brought TV in this place. After that we went to another car boots sale, this one is more biger than the first one. We arrived about 12:00, we spent a lot of time, here. But, it was closed on 1:00pm, so pity. We should arrived here more early. I wish I can get up early,ha. After shopping, its about 1:30, we thought we have much time to traveled to others places. I told Peter "I missing fish and chips in knaressborought"But, he said,there is a small town, whichis vey becautiful, so we went to Roman Town. But when we arrived there, we found a fact"Roman Town does not open today". Althought ,Roman Town was not open today, we went around the village. Wa, this village was very very becautiful, we went to church, and enjoy the old ambiance in the church, fantastic. Then,we went to knaressborought, ha ha , finally, I ate biggest one fish in knaressborought. We went to a shop, a man told us many placese in knaressborought, so we went to castle, the house in the rock. But the house in the rock did not open, we just went around, and took a picture.

Our day trip is go to Liverpool. It is about 2 hours from Bradford to Liverpool by coach. First, we visited a Merseyside maritime museum, this museum tells the story of Liverpool’s seafaring heritage and the merchant navy.

And then, we went to the pier head area. We saw three buildings which are famous landmarks of Liverpool “ Royal liver building, Cunard building, Port of Liverpool building” The clock faces in Royal liver building are larger than the clock face of Big Ben in London.

We want to find carboot sale , so we choice Knaressbrought. When we arrived there, it was 1:30. the carboot sale was close. Near carboot sale, there is a horse course, we went to there, but the day didn’t have horse racing. So we just took a picture. After that we went to Knaressbrought. This is a small city, and we went around the city. We brought fish and chips and siting on the chair in a square. Wa, wonderful day.

We tried to find another infinite near thiscity, finally, we found a small dales. There also have sheep, I tried to catch sheep, but I can’t. Sheeps run too fast.
