This is the first moon festival in UK. MBA's students held a party to celebrate this festival. This is the first time, I went to managment school. It is totally different between the main campus and managment school. The managment school is very quiet, and just few shop. It is a good place to study, Ilike it. It spent a pound from interchange station to managment school. We have a barbecue in our friend's house, althought it was rain outside. we still very enjoyed about that. When we come back, we saw the moon was very beautiful. We were very exciting, and city hall also have some beautiful light. Fantastic night.

We went to city hall to see lord mayo of Bradfordr.We enter city hall, they introduce us some history of Bradford. We also ate some biscute and cookie.

This is a national park, which is the north part of Yorkshire. But before I describe Yorkshire, I want to say a strange thing. We always lose way on Skipton, therefore, we descided to go to Skipton, and to see what magic of Skipton? Why we always lose way on Skipton? So we went to Skipton, a strang things happened when we arrived the Skipton. Peter(our teacher) got a message from Issam(my housemate). But this message have aready sent by Issam last night. I means the message was delay deliver to my teacher. I told them, I am witch and I controlled the message. Skipton is my city, I can have power in this city. So they gave this city new name “kiki-ton”

After that, we arrived Yorkshire deals. This nation park is a very beautiful place. We can saw many sheep and cow, we not went to a easy way, we climb a small mountain.

I went to the theater to see ballet today, wa… amazing, I never went to theater before. I saw the ballet, this felling as if I am in the movie. You know, I brought the ticket only one pound, very cheap, although my seat is very far from a stage. The ballet’s name is 3 Musketeers, described a story about conflict between queen and the pontiff.

Dancer did not talked any words, only music and body language, we can understood what it means, wa, amazing. I can not take picture there, but it was really really a fantastic experience.

There were two famous author bron in Harworth, Charlotte Bronte and Emily Bronte.

They are sisters, Jane Eyre’s author is Charlotte, and Wuthering Heights is Emily. I brought those two books in Harworth, each book only1.5P. We visited two authors house, at this house I knew this two authors were die when they were young. Charlotte was 39 years old when she died, and Emily only 30. Both of them suffer from tuberculosis. Charlotte was pregnant when she died.  At that time, only few women knew words, those sisters can wrote such romantic novel, which is amazing.

York is a lovely city; I like this city very much. York is famous on its outlet shop, but I did not go to there. Firstly, I went to train museum. I saw many old trains, and understand how to start trains. We also saw a modern train, which made by Japan. After that, we went to an art museum to see some painting. Actually, I do not understand paint, I only to get a superficial understanding through quick and casual observation. I only remember paint, which is a human. This paint made by many postcards, so beautiful.

 

Ilkley is a small city near Bradford, when we arrive there, it have a heavy rain. We went around the city, and went to many second hand stores. Most of second hand stores are very cheap and quality also not too bad. My friend brought a cute bag. I just brought a magazine.Here has a famous coffee shop, but we forget to go there.Maybe we will go there next time.

This is my first birthday in UK. I almost forget the day is my birthday. When my Taiwan's friend sent me a messange, suddenly, I relize the day is my birthday. When I come back to my house, my housemate Issam made some lamp, and  Sayako cook Japanese's soup for me, Lala, my best friend made a cake. We have a fantasic dinner, we talked until midnight. They said why I didn't tell them that 28 Sep. is my birthday.ha"sorry, I also forget, too" ha

My birthday is on Thuesday. On Saturday, my housemate also told my "Saturday is my birthday in others country not in UK". Our presessional couse's teacher also come with us. Therefore they decide to go to Harrgate to have a dinner. I have been Harrgate before, but I never go there in the night. Harrgate's night also very beautiful, many young people went to pub drinking and dancing.We went to a sea food restaurant in Harrogate. We ordered a very delicus sea food(prawn,codfish,clam),wa, very nice dinner. After we came back to Bradford. Our teacher lose the way in Skipton, you know, this is amazing thing, we always lose way in Skipton.  A week ago, we want to go to Ilkey, we lose way in Skipton; and than we went to Harworth, we also lose way in Skipton; even today, we want to go to Harrogate, we lose the way in Skipton. oh, my god, My friend guess "Skipton should have some relative with Kiki".ha, I am wrich, ha.  We lose the way, it was very dark outside the car. In the car, they sang "happy birthday"to me, wa, so romantic......Finally, we found the way to go back to Bradford, when I was remove my glass, suddenly, they close the light, Sayako aske me to help her doing somethings. Then they bring a cake which made my Peter(our teacher) to me, and sang happy birthday to me......wa....I am very happy........it's a unforgettable birthday..................Thanks Peter, Issam, Sayako, Lala.

Manchester is the third city of England. Our presessional couse’s teacher lives here. First, we decide to visit Old Trafford, which is a big football stadium. This stadium is a fantastic place, large and beautiful. We saw many places, football player’s dressing room and history of Manchester united. We also pretend to that we are football players who will enter into a football field. I went to a shopping mall to wear a Manchester united hat, very funny.

After that, we went to chain town to buy some Chinese food. We brought glutinous rice powder for making rice ball, soya sauce, and apple phone card. The phone card is only 10P, but I can use 25P.  I can use apple card by mobile phone, only put some pin number. I can call back to Taiwan about 2000 minutes. However, the card has expired date, only 3 months. I brought this card for 2 weeks, it still have 1900 minutes.

Saltaire is a small city near Bradford. It made by Titus. Titus was a wool trader. He called this village Saltaire(salt and the river aire).He build houses, a park, an institute for recreation and learning-including a library; places for worship, shop and outdoor sport facilities. First, we arrived the church they gave us a card. The card has the name and address in Saltaire. After their introduction, they took us to found our house; oh my god, my house is big. My house owner name is AnnWood. She was rich women. We also went to our classmate house door, the door’s color is yellow. The tour guide said the color like diarrhea, therefore the house call diarrhea house, funny. This city we can saw symbol in many building. The symbol is two star and one bird. This symbol means Titus. When we saw doors, we can easy understand who is rich and poor. Because the more simple door, the more poor family. 

We stay here for 4 hours, we went around the stree, and found the house which they gave us the card. A interesting outside teaching.

Sheffield is a lovely place. My friend's custom study in that university. It takes 1-2 hours from Bradford to Sheffied. Her custom live in university, so we took bus to go to her custom's house. We arrived about 2:00, she was waitting us for lunnch, she is a very nice cook. She cook very well, and she cook some tranditional chinese food, I love this food very much. I haven't eat such kind chinese food for 3 weeks. I ate zong zi, dumplings. Oh my god, I miss Taiwan.

 

On the end of Auguest, we have a holiday on monday, therefore we have a 3 offday. I descide to travel to London. We have alreay open account, but we haven't recieve the card. I can't used web site to order ticket, so we deside to buy ticket on bus station(because bus is more cheaper than train). We check the time of national express, the time is 5:45 AM. When we arrived the bus station in the morning, we can not find the place to buy the ticket, only sales trains ticket. We check the reception of bus station, it open on 8:30, oh my got, I should wait for 2 hour. I think bradford is a small place, if we go to Leeds, maybe it will have a place to sell bus's ticket. When we arrived Leeds, its about 7:00, luckly, the least two bus ticket were brought, and we start our traveled in London.

 

We have a day trip to Harrogate on 19th Aug. It takes approximately 1 hr. by coach. H arrgate is a small city, and also have many very beautiful building. I would say taht evey builiding to me in UK are very lovely.  We go around the park, a nice place, fresh air, and  some people doing exercise there.After that we went to a famous cafe please. The cafe's name is Bettys. We waited for 30min., but I think its worth. We ate a tranditional england breakfast. It tast delicious. After lunch we want to Fountains Abbey, this is a also beautiful please. A big church, I saw a wedding. Fantastic bride, I hope I can be that women oneday.

I have been Bradford for 5 weeks, this is a lovely places, I like here very much. People are very friendly here. I remembered when I first day come here, a university student help me to carry my luggage from station to our campus. You know, it will takes 20 minutes from interchange station to our university, and my luggage is about 25kg, besides I always lose my way in city centre, people always help me to find the way.

The international office took me to IKEA on first Wednesday, there is a big clothes shop near IKEA, I brought 2 clothes there, it only cost 4 pounds, and quality also not too bad.

I stay bradford about 5 days, I feel very happy, here. Everyone are very nice and friendly.
