We drove about 5 hours from Bradford to Edinburgh.It's heavy rain and windy in Scoatland. We arrived Ediburgh on 10.00pm, unfortunately, The Hogmanay stree party was canceled. The word 'Hogmanay' means New Year's Eve in Scotland, although originally it was from Norman French language (in about 1600). Therefore, we descided to go around Endiburgh and then went to Glasaow. There were a lot of people walked on the stree, most of them were tourism, they felt disappointment. Many people went to pub to drink, but we didn't want to enter Edinburgh's pub,it was too many people.Peter said maybe we can found a little city nearby, and we can drink in the pub,so we descided to leave Edinburgh.
I told Peter, maybe it would be a big party in glasgow, because glasgow is a big city, so we descided to go to glasaow. We arrived there about 12.20, so we count from the end 2006 on the road in the car, but it still very happy, we opened the radio, and danced in the car haha funny.
Glasaow is a big city, people are very nice here, somepeople said happy new year to us, a girl hug us, we danced in a pub about 30 minutes, and the pub was closed(too early). A man asked us about a chinese word, and we taught 2 british how to said happy new year in Chinese, a old man kissed Tina, Tina felt nausteaed. I saw a lot of man wear scotland's skirt very tranditional, very "becautiful"haha Although the party canceled in Ediburgh, we still have a very nice new year, we arrived bradford on 7.10am in the morning, Peter is a superman he drove 10 hours car.
