Our day trip is go to Liverpool. It is about 2 hours from Bradford to Liverpool by coach. First, we visited a Merseyside maritime museum, this museum tells the story of Liverpool’s seafaring heritage and the merchant navy.

And then, we went to the pier head area. We saw three buildings which are famous landmarks of Liverpool “ Royal liver building, Cunard building, Port of Liverpool building” The clock faces in Royal liver building are larger than the clock face of Big Ben in London.

We also went to Cavern Quarter which encircles world famous Mathew Street, is a vibrant city centre area at the focus of Beatle history. Beatles played 292 times in Cavern Club. The most interesting things is there is a wall which have many names. We took many pictures there, although we don’t know any name of that.

We went to liver museum, we spent a hour and half here, we saw archaeology, ethnology and natural and physical sciences. There is a narrator, and he is very kindly. He told us many places of Liverpool eg. The walk, cathedral…

We went to the walker (art gallery), we found many over 600 years of are here, but actually, I cannot understand the painting meaning.

We spent too much time in museum; therefore, we walked very quickly from the walker to cathedrals. Methropolitan cathedral is the Roman Catholic cathedral and is a modern building. It has a unusual shape, local people refer to it as Paddy’s Wigwam. It is very beautiful inside (interior lantern tower of multi-coloured glass)

The Liverpool cathedral is the Anglican cathedral and 100 years old in this year. It is built in Gothic style. It is the fifth largest cathedral in the world.

Finally, we went to china town to buy something, this is the oldest Chinese community in Europe, but today, most of Chinese restaurant closed.

We walked for a long time today, we don’t have time to find restaurant. So we are very hungry when we arrived home. But it is very worth to travel to Liverpool.
